Sambo Kojin: Gluttony at its finest

Sambo Kojin EDSA: Grill all you can, Eat all you can
Amidst all the diets & healthy living, there are times when you have to indulge yourself to gluttony.  On a special occasion like birthday, it's understandable to fill your heart's stomach's content on extravagant foodies such as "eat-all-you-can" restaurants.  I found a place where you can satisfy your gluttony without sacrificing your wallet.

Sambo Kojin.  Situated along the long highway of EDSA, in between Ortigas & Santolan MRT station.  I decided to celebrate my birthday there together with my fiance.  We arrived at around 4:30pm.  Since it's too early, we are the first customers to arrive. But we are 7th or 8th customer in the reservation list.  From 4:30-5:30pm, their phone is already working overtime from non-stop reservations.  Whew, good thing we arrive early!

At around 5:40pm, they let us in.  I'm the first customer who entered the restaurant. Yay..lol.

So, first I'll give you a little tour inside the resto. Here's what you will see when you first enter the room. (R-L) Right: A wide array of fresh & flavored seafoods & meats inside the freezers to maintain the quality of foods. This is better than other eat-all-you can restaurants where food are on the containers or plates. Left: Soup and cooked asian dishes section. A little farther on the left are korean stuffs like kimchi (sorry, I forgot the other food's names)

Where food are located. The restaurant is clean and has good ambiance.

When we arrived at our table, here's what you'll see. (picture on the right) Different sauces & spices for the grilling part. Soon after we were seated, a waiter gave us appetizers? (picture on the left) I only ate the anchovies.

Appetizers and Yakiniku sauces

Then soon after we ordered our drinks, the waiter offered the Kamameshi rice.  We ordered but regretted it later since it's so heavy in the stomach.

Kamameshi rice. A japanese fried rice with so many stuffs included.

And so, without further ado, my bf and I went to fill our plates. Our first batch are the different types of sushi and our fave salmon sashimi.

Tasty sushi and sashimi

Second batch are the stuffs-to-be-grilled.  I so loved the wrapped bacon with cheesy stuff inside.  I shall not post the other grill batch. It's quite shameful to show our gluttony. hohoho~

Seafood and meat Yakiniku
Anyway, here's our other stuffs.  These are Korean foods.

Korean delicacies

Last batch, the sweet deserts. I love the ice cream and mini cheese cake period. Haha.

Desserts. I only liked the ice cream and mini cheese cake

Verdict: 100% Passed. Highly recommended. It was such a gluttony experience! We will definitely come back again. The ambiance, food & service are worth even more than what you've paid for.

Too busy and lazy to update

Sorry peeps. This blog is so outdated. I really haven't enough time to post anything.  I had so much to blog but words just can't compose themselves in my mind.  But when I had time, it's either I had something else to do or I'm too lazy to think & write.  Or maybe I just keep thinking that whatever I write, whether it may be interesting or not, there will only a few or none at all readers on my blog.  Poor me. *sob* So maybe I'm just not inspired at all. A writer without a reader is so uninspiring, right?

Should I switch to tumbler or wordpress? hmm......
